Case Description

Xavier "Xay" Lamont Machi Landry, 16, was shot and killed on July 12, 2024, in the 500 block of A Street Southeast in Auburn, Washington. Auburn police responded to the scene at about 10:45 p.m. and found Xavier suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers attempted lifesaving measures, but he was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two other juveniles were also injured in the shooting and were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators said the shooting followed a confrontation between two groups outside. Xavier’s case remains unsolved, and those who loved him continue to honor his life while searching for justice.
