On July 26th, 2019, Willie Ankum was found deceased from injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. Patrol officers were called to 425 Jack Springs Road in Atmore, Alabama. Willie was an elderly man and lived alone at his home. Investigators believe Willie had been dead for eight to 10 hours before his body was discovered.
