On August 14, 1989, at approximately 4:30 p.m., 17-year-old Wanda Cartagena was found deceased inside her second-floor apartment at the Mill Street Apartments in Springfield, Massachusetts. At the time of her death, Wanda was pregnant with her second child. Her life and the life of her unborn child were tragically cut short, leaving her loved ones to endure decades without answers. Wanda and her family continue to deserve answers, accountability, and justice.
