On August 12, 1995, 36-year-old Veronica Lucero was last seen leaving the "Top of Town" bar at West 6th Avenue and Knox Court in west Denver, CO. She accepted a ride from a man, but tragically, she was later found in the street near West 7th Avenue and Hazel Court, deceased from blunt force trauma. Nearly 30 years later, Veronica's family continues to seek justice while honoring her memory through advocacy.
