Case Description
Tyler Russell, a 15-year-old high school student, was shot near the intersection of 20th and Market Streets in Louisville, Kentucky, on the evening of January 13, 2016. He had been walking home with friends after basketball practice when gunfire erupted, striking him. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported him to a nearby hospital, but despite medical efforts, he did not survive. Tyler's tragic death left his family and community devastated, and they continue seeking justice for him.
