On March 31, 1999, Tina Blunt, 31, was last seen leaving her home in the 2600 block of Connie Avenue to go to her job as a ticketing supervisor for SkyWest Airlines at Meadows Field Airport in Bakersfield, California. Her maroon 1993 Chevrolet S-10 truck was found abandoned on April 2, 1999, in the 5400 block of Dunsmuir Road. Tina's body was found on April 14, 1999, in the area of Bear Mountain Boulevard and SR99 in Bakersfield, California. There was an arrest made in 2001, but he was found not guilty at trial in 2003. Tina's family and friends continue to seek justice and advocate for her case.
