Tillie Cross Kramer, 73, was found in a gangway near her home at 4946 Honroe Street in Chicago, IL on February 19, 1965. She had been robbed of her purse, raped, and beaten to death. A man was later questioned after an unrelated purse-snatching assault involving another woman, and records note he had previously been acquitted in a separate homicide case years earlier. Since 1965, Tillie's family continues to seek justice, while advocating for her.
