Tawana McGowan was returning to her home in Redford, Michigan on January 11th, 2010 from an overnight shift at a hospital in Detroit when she was shot in her own driveway by an unknown assailant. She was found lying in the snow deceased by her young son who then called 911. Police reported that the shooting did not appear to be random.
