Case Description
Sandra A. Botelho of New Bedford, who had been listed as missing since Aug. 13, 1988, when she was 24 years old, authorities said. Her skeletal remains were found Monday by state highway workers picking up trash in the Plymouth County community of Marion, which is about six miles from New Bedford in Bristol County. She was found alongside Interstate 195 in Marion on April 24th, 1989, which is the same highway where several of the other victims have been found since last summer. All eight previous victims were found dumped alongside area highways and appeared to have been killed in a similar manner, authorities said. Connected to multiple other homicides and missing people cases. Believed to be the work of a serial killer in the New England area. Sandra's case remains unsolved as her loved one's continue seeking justice in this case.
