On the evening of October 16, 2021, tragedy struck in Lamont, California. Around 5:15 p.m., 36-year-old Ruben Anthony Aguilar Sr. was found at the southwest corner of Primrose Avenue and Panama Road. Authorities determined that he had suffered a gunshot wound, and despite efforts, he tragically died at the scene. His loss left a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, as family, friends, and the community mourned a life taken too soon.
