On September 26, 1967 Ronald Anderson was found murdered in Gulfport, Mississippi. He was only seventeen years old and his death was ruled a suicide at the time. In 2003, his father was gunned down in his driveway in Gulfport, Mississippi. The family and local law enforcement now believe that both men were murdered by members of the Dixie Mafia. According to family, there has been occasions where their father was intimated by a member of the Dixie Mafia before his death. Ronald's father worked as bailiff for Judge Sherry who was killed by the Dixie Mafia in 1987. The family also has pictures of Ronald's father playing cards with four members of the Dixie Mafia in 1967.
