***UPDATE*** October 3, 2024- Marty Lynn Judd,51, was found guilty by a Warren County jury for second-degree murder and the possession of a prohibited weapon. He was sentenced to 24 years in prison. Marty will not be eligible for parole nor early release.
August 2024 - According to court records the trial is set for September 30, 2024, to October 3, 2024,
October 2019 - Marty Lynn Judd, 51, was charged with criminal homicide in the Aug. 28, 2009, death of Rebecca Mooneyham.
Officers received an "innocuous tip," an angle they hadn't previously considered.
On August 28, 2009, Rebecca Mooneyham was shot while sleeping in her easy chair in front of a window at her residence on Lawson Mill Road in McMinnville, Tennessee. She was found by her husband.
