On June 29, 2014, Paul Shepard Jr., 40, was found by law enforcement near Sims Road in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was suffering from a gunshot wound and was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Paul was a taxi driver in the area. Witnesses saw two young men get out of his taxi and flee. Paul's family continues to advocate for their loved one and seek answers in his case.
