Case Description

On Sunday, June 1, 2014, police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Tremont Street at approximately 1:36 a.m. When officers arrived, they found 21-year-old Norman Gant lying in the yard of a residential home with life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound. Norman was found on the lawn next to a rental property where a loud party had taken place the night before. Paramedics transported him to Sartori Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later. Norman’s death left his family and loved ones grieving, searching for answers, and continuing to seek accountability. His family continues to honor his memory, advocate on his behalf, and seek the justice he deserves.
