On February 2, 1990, 54-year-old Nicolas Briseno, Nick to his family and friends, was found shot to death inside a hotel room at 1363 North E Street in San Bernardino, California, a place he was known to stay on weekends. Responding officers arrived after reports of gunfire and discovered Nick inside the room, suffering from fatal injuries. Detectives began an investigation, interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence from the scene in hopes of identifying who was responsible and understanding the events that led to his death. More than three decades later, those who knew Nick continue to remember him and hope for answers. His life was taken in an act of senseless violence, and his family and friends still seek the truth and justice he deserves.
