***FIRST CONVICTION*** - On February 27, 2026, Amy Danielle Vilardi was found guilty of four counts of murder. She was sentenced to four consecutive life sentences. Ross Vilardi has also been charged with four counts of murder, but his trial has not yet been scheduled.
***ARREST MADE*** - Amy Vilardi and her husband, Rosmore “Ross” Vilardi, have been charged with the murders of Amy’s mother, Cathy Scott; Cathy’s husband, Michael “Mike” Scott; Mike’s mother, Barbara Scott; and Cathy’s mother, Violet Taylor.
On November 1, 2015, Cathy Scott, 60, her husband Michael "Mike" Scott, 58, Cathy's mother Violet Taylor, 85, and Mike's mother Barbara Scott, 80, were found dead in their shared home on Refuge Road in Pendleton, South Carolina. All four individuals had been repeatedly stabbed and shot.
