Case Description
On July 9, 1984, Michelle "Mickey" LaMere, 21, was killed on a secluded road north of Omaha, Nebraska. She was found the next morning by a jogger near N 32nd Ave and Shongaska Road in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska. Michelle's body was located just off the roadside in tall grass. Deputies indicate her initial cause of death was blunt force trauma to the abdomen, which ruptured her liver and spleen. Investigators believe Michelle was deceased before an unknown vehicle ran her over. Michelle's family continues to advocate for her and seek justice in this case.
