November 15, 2015 Michael Watkins is described, by those who knew and loved him, as “work-aholic” with “no enemies” but on December 8, 2009 he was the victim of a still unsolved murder. Michael called police on that Tuesday evening to say he’d been attacked while working late at BJ’s Novelty on Arcade Avenue in Louisville, Kentucky. When LMPD arrived on the scene Michael was found in the building he worked with a stab wound to the neck. Michael’s family and friends have continued their fight for answers by making sure Michael is not forgotten and are determined to get justice for the man they loved.
