On August 1, 2015, 23-year-old Michael McKissic II was visiting a friend’s home near Elm Street and Grand Street in Lansing, Michigan, when gunfire erupted. Michael was struck and died from his injuries. A second victim was also wounded during the shooting but survived. Michael’s loved ones continue to seek answers and justice in his unsolved case.
