Mary Ann Elizabeth Kee was found severely beaten in her home on the corner of Rouse and 14th street in Pittsburg, Kansas back on January 14th,1987. A report to the local police around 6:47AM that morning alerted authorities that the young mother may be deceased in her bedroom. At that time, law enforcement did not indicate who made that initial reporting or give a potential motive in this violent act. For 37 years, the Kee family has been working toward maintaining public awareness for her unsolved homicide while awaiting judicial resolution.
