On September 17th, 1988, Leon Jackson Jr. was found deceased in the passenger seat of a van near Swope Park in Kansas City, Missouri. Leon had passed away due to a gun-related head injury. News media reported at the time that the van was stolen and a finger print from an unknown person was found on the van. Leon's homicide remains unsolved. His family continues to advocate and seek judicial resolution in his case.
