Case Description
43 years ago Larry Gene Cranor was shot as he stood in his Bartlesville, Oklahoma front yard preparing to go to work. The young father died from his injuries two days later on November 7. 1980. Details released by the Sheriff called the shooting mysterious and that there was no known motive or suspects. A witness at the time did report that the victim cautioned them to stay back, right before a second gunshot could be heard, the witness was not able to discern what direction the shot came from. Family, friends and this small community are still looking for judicial resolution in this cold case.
