On June 20, 1999, Hartford Police responded to 272 Garden Street, where officers found the brutally beaten body of LaDawn Roberts. LaDawn, 28, had serious head trauma, including a crushed skull and injuries around her neck and head. Commonly known as Dawn, Ms. Roberts was last seen alive around Albany Avenue and Garden Street on June 19, 1999, in Connecticut.
