On March 13, 2004, Krystle McKinney, 19, and another individual were found deceased by emergency responders on the floor inside the residence on 1500 College Way in New Bern, North Carolina. The medical examiner ruled their death a homicide. Investigators believe Krystle and the other person were fatally assaulted inside the residence on March 12, 2004. Krystle's family continues to advocate for their loved one and seek answers in her case.
