Case Description

On Friday, April 24, 1998, Prince George’s County police responded to 28-year-old Kimberly Clark’s home at 67 Harry S. Truman Drive, in Largo, MD, after her mother grew concerned when she had not heard from her since the day before. At around 7:30 p.m., officers found Kimberly inside the apartment and determined she had been slain. Because the investigation was ongoing, authorities did not publicly release details about how she was killed, and detectives said a motive had not been established. At the time, no arrests had been made. Early reports indicated there were no obvious signs of forced entry, and investigators had not determined whether the apartment had been robbed. Kimberly mattered, and her family continues to advocate for her while seeking justice.
