On March 5, 2021, at approximately 11:45 am, officers responded to the intersection of Rittenhouse Street and 57th Avenue in Riverdale, MD for the report of a shooting. Once on scene, officers located Kenard "KJ" Keene Jr, 22, in the roadway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene. KJ's family continues to work with law enforcement, while seeking justice for him.
