***Update*** - The Kentucky State Police announced the arrest of Randell Nichols, 63, on December 15, 2021. He is being charged with first-degree murder. Nichols is the second arrest made in this case, following the October arrest of Brian Flannery. Police indicated that even more arrests could be coming.
Update - October 2021: The Kentucky State Police announced the arrest of Brian Flannery, 57, on October 8, 2021. He is being charged with first-degree murder. Authorities indicated that they expect more arrests to follow.
The victim’s brother, Chris Glover, says after the first few years with no answers, the family had begun to lose hope they’d ever get justice, and now it’s a giant blessing to finally see arrests in the case.
Kelly Glover was found lying near his gravel truck on a back road in rural Elliott County on February 13, 2015. He had been shot in the head.
