Case Description
On the evening of May 29, 2019, Kayshla Torres, 25, was driving along South Nashville Avenue in Orlando, Florida, when she was struck by a stray bullet. Witnesses reported hearing four to five gunshots in the area around 9:30 p.m. Kayshla was critically injured and fought for her life for three days before passing away on June 1, 2019. At this time, no suspects have been publicly identified, and no arrests have been made in connection with Kayshla’s death. Kayshla’s death is a heartbreaking reminder of the innocent lives affected by violence, and her family and loved ones continue to deserve answers, justice, and peace as they carry her memory forward.
