Case Description
On October 12, 1991, Kathy Stoots, 20, was shot and killed while working at the J&W Video Store in Milan, Tennessee. Details surrounding the circumstances of the homicide and those responsible have remained limited, and the case has continued to weigh heavily on the community. More than three decades later, Kathy is remembered not only for the tragedy of her death but for the life she should have been able to live, and her loved ones continue to hope that answers, accountability, and justice will one day bring them a measure of peace.
