Katherine Knechtges, who was 19 years old, was last seen with four or five people in El Paso, Texas. On Tuesday, March 30, 1976, Katherine's body was found about 20 miles south of Las Cruces, New Mexico near railroad tracks. She was identified through dental records and an autopsy revealed she died due to head injuries. Katherine's family continues to advocate for her case.
