On December 30th, 2020, Joshua Kreiser, 44, was killed in a hit-and-run in Mary Esther, Florida on Highway 98 and Timberlake. The collision occurred about 8 p.m. as Kreiser was walking along the highway. A white vehicle traveling west in the inside lane of traffic struck Kreiser then fled the scene, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. No arrest has been made at this time but FHP said they do have a "person/ persons of interest" as well as a possible vehicle which is being processed by FHP and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
