Joseph Bowser Jr., 22 was found shot and killed on March 24, 2018 behind the Battle Creek Apartments, formerly known as the River Apartments in Battle Creek, Michigan. Joseph was an engineering student at Western Michigan University and a talented athlete. Josephs' family is advocating and fighting for justice. The family opened the Joseph Bowser Center as a gathering point for families affected by violent crime in their community.
