John Charles Austin Garrett, 23, went missing on October 12, 2022, after he failed to show up for work, which was out of character for him. On October 13, 2022, police found him dead from a single gunshot wound in the 5800 block of Plaza Drive, a deserted tract of West Lake Forest in New Orleans, LA. John's family continues to seek justice, while working with law enforcement and advocating for him.
