Case Description
Jimmie Retha Brown, 16 was found badly decomposed and bound on August 15th, 1977 on the O'Hara Gap Road heading towards Anthony, New Mexico. Jimmie was last seen in El Paso, Texas on August, 10th, 1977 which closely borders New Mexico. Jimmie was spending the summer in El Paso where she had grown up, before heading back to California where she resided. Law Enforcement believe that she was killed elsewhere, possibly in Texas and then dumped in New Mexico. Jimmie was last seen by a man who offered to provide a place for her to stay when she then demanded to be let out of his car. That was the last known time she was alive.
