Jasmine Morris, 21, was at a private party with her friend in the basement of Diverse Banquet Hall in Homewood when she was shot. They were dancing together when she was hit and fell into her best friend's arms who held her there on the floor until she died. During the shooting, there was another victim, Demetrius Broadnax, who was killed and five injured. Jasmine's family continues to advocate for her and seek justice.
