On February 29, 2004, Ivan Sears was walking home from his job at Illiana's Bar in Terre Haute, Indiana, to his apartment on Wabash avenue in Terre Haute, Indiana when he was struck by a vehicle along U.S. 40, resulting in a fatal hit and run. “We look into all new information when we receive it,” Chief Deputy John Moats said. “We want to resolve these cases for loved ones and bring justice for the victims.”
