On June 19, 2005, Freddie Louis Whittiemore, lovingly known as Mr. Buddy, was last seen standing with his dog along Highway 179, Charleston Road in Stanton, Tennessee. He was going for his daily walk around 6:00-7:30 A.M. He never returned and was never found. In October 2024, Freddie's daughter received a call about a tip. This tip indicated that Freddie's body was buried near dumpsters near Highway 179. Freddie's family continues to advocate for him and fight for judicial resolution.
