***Update*** - On November 9, 2020, advanced DNA testing determined that Fawn Cox's own cousin, Donald Cox, Jr., was responsible for the rape and murder. Donald Cox died in 2006 from an overdose.

On July 26, 1989, Fawn Cox,16, was found dead in her bedroom. Her mother and younger sister found her body after Fawn failed to silence her morning alarm. She had been raped and strangled. Fawn's family continues to advocate for their loved one and seek answers in her case.
