***Update*** - On November 9, 2020, advanced DNA testing determined that Fawn Cox's own cousin, Donald Cox, Jr., was responsible for the rape and murder of 16-year-old Fawn Cox. Donald Cox died in 2006 from an overdose.

Sixteen-year-old Fawn Cox was raped and strangled in her own bed in Kansas City, Missouri, in July 1989.
