Case Description
On Wednesday, January 23, 1980, at 4:04 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to an apartment on the unit block of West Logan Street. Edward Gathright was found lying on the bed inside his third-floor apartment. He was suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. Edward was transported to Woman's Medical College Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.
