On July 26, 2001, Donald Couitt, 21, was talking to someone in a black sport utility vehicle outside a residence in Providence, Rhode Island. Someone in the vehicle opened fire and Donald was hit multiple times. Donald collapsed and the vehicle left. He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Donald's family continues to advocate for their loved one and seek answers in his case.
