In the early morning hours of January 30, 2018, Deunta Blakemore was shot while seated in the passenger side of a vehicle outside his mother’s home on South Richard Drive in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. At the time, neighbors reported hearing at least five gunshots in the area. We honor Deunta’s life and stand with his family as they continue to live with unanswered questions. No family should have to endure the pain of waiting for justice, and we remain hopeful that one day the truth will come forward and bring the answers they deserve.
