Case Description

Desirea Ferris, 18, was last seen in the early morning hours of May 1, 2017, after leaving a home in the Marlborough neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri. On May 1, 2017, Desirea had been out with her sister and two men they knew. At some point that evening, Desirea’s sister was dropped off, while Desirea stayed with the men. She was reportedly supposed to be taken to a friend’s home, but she never arrived. Desirea made a phone call at approximately 2:06 a.m. on May 2 and later sent a text message to the same number at approximately 5:14 a.m. Her last Facebook activity was around 3:00 a.m. After that morning, Desirea was never heard from again. Investigators believe Desirea may be deceased, but her remains have not been found.
