Case Description
On May 8, 2010, 24-year-old Darren Anthony Gray was attending his child’s birthday party at Lafayette Park in Norfolk, Virginia. During the celebration, a group of men approached Darren and began attacking him. He was beaten, kicked, stomped, and struck with a bottle before he was shot multiple times. Darren died at the scene.
Although some individuals were reportedly identified and convicted in connection with the assault, Darren’s murder remains unsolved. His family continues to seek answers and accountability for what happened that day.
