On September 19, 2021, Courtney Bradford, 36, was driving on I-240 east of Airways in Memphis, Tennessee when an unknown vehicle pulled up beside him and started shooting into his vehicle. Police arrived on scene around 2 am, and Courtney was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Shortly after arrival, Courtney succumbed to his injuries. There have been no suspects in custody, and the case remains unsolved. Since 2021, Courtney's family continues seeking justice, while working with law enforcement and advocating for him.
