Case Description
On October 27, 2001, a hiker discovered the remains of 31-year-old Cindy Evelyn Roberts in a wooded area off Old River Road in Lincoln, Rhode Island. Cindy, a mother of three, had been reported missing from nearby Woonsocket on July 4, 2001. Her family had not heard from her since before her June 26 birthday, an unusually long period for her to go without contacting her mother or sister. On March 20, 2002, the remains were identified as Cindy’s through dental records. Her homicide remains unsolved.
