On September 14, 2017, at approximately 10 p.m., 20-year-old Chancell Bradford and his father were found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds near their residence in the 1100 Block of East Washington Street in Shreveport, Louisiana, in the Anderson Island neighborhood. Chancell was taken to University Health (LSU), where succumbed to his injuries. His father survived. The tragic incident has left a profound impact on Chancell's family and community.
