Case Description

Cedrick Herbert, 23, was shot and killed at 603 E. Northfield Blvd #F4 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. On Monday, June 15, 2009, Cedrick was inside a friend’s apartment on East Northfield Boulevard when the homicide occurred. Investigators said Cedrick had been asleep in the apartment when an unknown suspect or suspects forced open the front door. According to reports, Cedrick was forced to his knees before being shot three times in the back of the head with a small-caliber firearm. Nothing was reported stolen from the apartment. Cedrick’s homicide remains unsolved almost 20 years later, and his family continues to seek justice.
