On October 16, 1999, 23-year-old Buddy Gene Bolding Jr. and a 2nd victim, Sarah York, were found shot to death in their home near Keystone Lake in Pawnee County, Oklahoma. The remote location, surrounded mostly by vacation homes, offered few witnesses and limited access. Investigators noted there was no sign of forced entry, and Buddy’s gun—believed to be the murder weapon—was found wiped clean in a closet, despite earlier searches of the scene. Since 1999, Buddy's family has continued seeking justice while advocating for him.
