***ARREST MADE*** On May 23, 2025, Henry County officials held a press conference announcing the arrest of three people for the 2022 killing of Brent Wagoner, 40. Waylon Allen Cox-Ingram, Patricia Beth Cox-Ingram, & John Antonio Fennell were all indicted by a grand jury on May 19, 2025. All three were charged with Aggravated Murder – Murder for Hire & Conspiracy to Commit Murder.
On September 21, 2022, Brent Douglas Wagoner was shot at his home at 4 Poplar Street in Ridgeway, VA. His family continues to work with the investigating agency seeking justice for Brent.
