On December 2, 2017, at 10:41 P.M., Brandon Irlmeier was found beaten, strangled, and shot to death at the bottom of a set of covered steps across the street from Creekside Park Elementary School on East 6th Avenue in Anchorage, Alaska. He was with a friend who witnessed the murder but has not cooperated with the police. Three young men were caught on a home surveillance camera immediately after the murder, but no one has come forward with further evidence or information. The case remains unsolved. Brandon’s case is one of the many unsolved cases of Alaska Native missing and murdered.
